Curriculum for Wales resources are generally designed for use by practitioners, learners, parents and carers in classrooms or other educational settings.

The Curriculum for Wales is guided by clear purposes and focused on helping learners move forward. It encompasses everything a learner experiences in pursuit of the four purposes of the curriculum, including:

• why it is taught

Resources that support learning and teaching of the Curriculum for Wales are reviewed and quality assured by Adnodd before publication on Hwb.

Adnodd is a Welsh Government arm’s length body that oversees and coordinates the provision of educational resources in both Welsh and English to support the learning and teaching of the Curriculum for Wales.

Adnodd’s aim is to ensure that all learners and practitioners, whatever their backgrounds, have access to high-quality resources that inspire and support learning.

Dysgu is Wales’s national professional learning organisation, supporting educators in schools and educational settings with excellent, bilingual development programmes, resources and guidance across all career stages.

The additional learning needs (ALN) system ensures that learners receive tailored support to access meaningful and inclusive education. It promotes person-centred approaches, enabling all learners to progress at their own pace and reach their potential. 

A range of ALN resources are available to support learners with ALN and strengthen ALN provision across schools and settings. These include practical tools, case studies, and professional learning materials.

Learning providers, practitioners and education professionals can access a range of non-curriculum resources that support post-16 education and the wider tertiary sector, including:

• digital learning (Digital 2030)

• equalities (including anti-racism)

• learner voice and learner engagement

• mental health and well-being

• post-16 performance measures 

• social partnership

Keeping safe online offers a comprehensive suite of resources, training and guidance to support learners, practitioners and families to navigate the digital world safely and confidently.
