Participate in a new pilot programme designed to support emotional and mental wellbeing in schools for learners and educators.

Reasons to join the pilot programme

By taking part in Calm Classrooms, Thriving Minds, you’ll:

  • build confidence and self-efficacy in the classroom

  • gain practical tools for behaviour management and wellbeing

  • deepen your knowledge of child development, neurodiversity, and mental health

  • connect with peers across Wales and shape a national programme

This is more than training, it’s a chance to invest in your professional growth and help shape a future-facing wellbeing initiative.

Programme overview

The programme runs over 8 weeks (January to March 2026) and includes:

  • face-to-face learning sessions

  • online self-directed modules

  • online peer support discussions

  • time for reflection and classroom practice

All programme content is available in Welsh and English.

You’ll be part of a cohort of 60 educators from across Wales. Groups will be allocated by role, region and language preference.
