Review of support for Speech, Language and Communication (SLC) development and needs across Wales

About this event

Welsh Government have commissioned Better Communication CIC to undertake an independent analysis of current support. We invite any member of the workforce who supports children and young people about what’s working well, any barriers to support for children and young people, as well as your professional perspective on what would make a difference.

As part of this we want to hear from families from across Wales.

Please note that there are separate focus groups for early years workforce and schools, and parents & carers.

At each focus group, there will be no more than 10 professionals from across Wales. No confidential information will be requested or shared.

We will ask you about:

• Who is supporting outcomes for speech, language and communication.

• What is currently working well.

• Challenges within the system.

• Aspirations to best support children and young people.
